INNOVATING THE INDUSTRY

Light Benders was born as a result of the substantial gap
in the technical sphere of filmmaking in Nepal,
both in qualitative and operational terms.
Now, our well composed systems of advanced film equipment,
efficiently organised in a range of trucks, and handled by experts,
improves the workflow by minimising set-up and teardown time,
all the while unlocking limitless creative cinematic possibilities.

BUILDING COMMUNITY

The Light Benders Team is made up of individuals
who have reached significant heights in diverse careers within film.
As such, we aim to organise capacity-building programs for technicians,
internships for students of the craft, and intensive workshops for the wider industry.
Light Benders is committed to supporting emerging talent
by providing at least one short film a year
With equipment and mentorship free of cost.
We believe that Nepal is home to creative gems
that never get the chance to go on the floor
due to the staggering costs of this art form.
We hope that our success may pave the way for more potential to flourish.

TECHNICAL HEAD

Considered to be one of the most talented Directors of Photography in contemporary Nepal, Chintan is the curator of all Light Benders equipment packages.

CHAIR PERSON

Commonly known as the most versatile actor in the industry, Bipin is a man who needs no introduction in Nepal. Although having reached stardom, he remains focused on how to improve the industry from the roots up.

ADMINISTRATIVE HEAD

Shyam is a production manager who has worked across film, advertisements, music videos, and more. His management skills and reverence for the craft of film define his honest and dependable approach to production.

IT HEAD

Erish is an entrepreneur whose interests lay in IT and Tech innovations.
